Finished my IRR training this week. ✈️
Skills test is booked for 14/7/26 — the last box to tick before hour building starts properly.
It's been a strange one to wrap up. Every lesson at Blackbushe over the past few months has been building toward flying solely on instruments — no visual reference, just trusting the panel. There were a few sessions where it genuinely didn't click, and a few where it suddenly did. That's most of flight training, I think.
Next up: pass the test, then start building hours toward the CPL. Feels like the first real milestone since going all in back in May.
If you're going through IRR/CB-IR training right now — happy to swap notes on what worked and what didn't.
